It’s winter in Hawkins, and Mike and Will aren’t speaking anymore. Living in Mike’s house, Will tries to be invisible, spending most of his time in the basement.

Then the power goes out — and if there’s one thing he dreads more than facing Mike, it’s the cold.

    or

Seven nights in which Mike and Will have to sleep in the same bed, even though they’re barely friends anymore.

“I’m, uh… sober,” Tweek announces because what the fuck else is he supposed to say to his ex-boyfriend that he ghosted 10 years ago to go do drugs?

Craig nods slowly. He wants to say congrats, or I’m proud of you, or how have you been sober for this fucking long and not contacted me at all you fucking asshole–

(In which Tweek emerges from his decade long absence from Craig’s life as a sober desert hippie and Craig is just an emotionally stunted mechanic in South Park. They try to figure it out.)

    Summary

    It was getting ridiculous.

Everywhere LeBron looked, someone was looking at Steph Curry.

    Not just looking—staring.

It was the rookies, eyes wide with admiration. The veterans, cracking jokes just to make him laugh. The analysts, gushing about his game with a reverence they rarely gave anyone else. And the players—oh, the players.

Dudes couldn’t keep their hands off him.

LeBron wasn’t sure when the annoyance turned into something sharper, something he couldn’t ignore. Maybe it was that one game when Ja Morant practically hung off Steph’s shoulders, laughing at something he said. Maybe it was when Dame shot Steph a look across the court that lingered a second too long.

Or maybe it was the moment LeBron realized—

That he wasn’t any better than the rest of them.
