    Tony didn't really care who Spider-Man was. He was probably just some stupid college kid. So when they needed more help with the Rogues, Tony didn't go to Spider-Man. He hadn't even bothered to find out who the kid was. The kid helped old ladies cross the street, not wrangle in superhumans and their very dangerous, very armed associates.

    Peter was just a regular high school kid. Except he didn't go to high school because he ran away after he was put in foster care because his aunt had died. And he hadn't really been a kid since the spider bite. But he was doing okay for himself, he'd made The Spidey Suit 2.0 which didn't look like pajamas so that was a win. And he'd even found a nice warehouse to settle in. And, okay, his boss wasn't really his boss because he wasn't really employed there (that would cause too many questions) but at least he got paid. And he was Spider-Man, except no-one had heard Spider-Man talk for months, not since May had died. But that's okay. He was okay. Yep, everything was just fine.

    Until maybe it really wasn't anymore.

    (Mostly a self indulgent fic because I got mad that Peter Parker fics made him thermoregulate when they specifically said he couldn't)

    Peter hoped the move to England would bring some closure.

    In a world in which 'mutants' were once considered supernatural - the werewolves, the were-tigers, the mermaids - Peter found himself fascinated by the fantasy of meeting their kind. It was just unlucky that Wade was the first one he would meet. Wade who defied expectation and would turn his world upside-down.

    He knew that Wade would make a perfect specimen, but everything about Wade tempted him into abandoning his duties to Tony. Peter would willingly sacrifice his science, his career, and even his friends just to make sure Wade would be safe.

    Only the ocean kept them apart . . .

    A decade after a wizard made any memory of his existence disappear, Peter Parker finds himself working as a bartender at Hell House. His alter ego runs into Deadpool and they become unlikely allies as the mercenary regains his memories after some sort of "merger." It's when Deadpool finally meets Peter that sparks fly. They're soulmates, alpha and omega, destined for each other. But like everyone else, Deadpool has no clue who he is. Wade tries to leave but somehow Peter keeps finding him. If that wasn't frustrating enough, every time they meet, it's like the first time all over again. And neither of them knows why.

    “In what fucking world do you personally know Spider-Man?” scoffed the rugged man next to him, who he vaguely remembered went by Uncle Jim.

    “Apparently, a far, far away one, Jimmy,” he said solemnly, slugging back the rest of his room-temperature beer.

    Wade Wilson went to sleep immortal and woke up a normal guy, smooth skin and all. In the wrong dimension.

    He wouldn't have any qualms about it if there wasn't the little fact that Spider-Man, Spidey, his bestie in crime, his love, didn't know him anymore.

    Trying to get back to his timeline with the help of Spider-Man isn't as easy as it sounds.
