    “What? You’ll what? You can’t do anything. Besides, I know you don’t actually want to leave. I’m the only one who can love you like this, Satoru, and you know it.”

    OR

    Suguru is overly obsessed with a stranger, Satoru just needs somebody to love him, and the universe is apathetic to everything, as usual.

    The pen hovers over the page for too long. Suguru exhales, presses it down, and writes anyway.
    He takes his coffee black, no sugar. He says sugar ruins the taste, but he’ll always steal some packets from me when I’m not looking. In truth, I think he just wants to be seen as ‘grown up’, but he totally has a huge sweet tooth.

    *** If you think it’s enough sugar, it’s not!!
    Keep extra on hand, until you think
    it’s way too much.

    He pauses. The words don’t feel true. Or maybe they just don’t feel enough, not quite capturing the full picture. Something stutters in his memory—the way Satoru’s face scrunches at the bitterness, the suppressed grin when he pretends not to like sweetness. Suguru flips the pen in his fingers, frowning. For twenty years, he’d watched Satoru drink his coffee. And today, for the first time, he isn’t sure if he remembers it right.

    OR; Geto and Gojo are an older married couple, and lately Geto's age seems to be getting the best of him, something he tries his best to hide from Gojo

The deliberate clink of books and pens echoes in the stillness, a subtle reminder of the distance he’s putting between them. His gaze flickers toward Satoru. "And get off my desk."

    Satoru’s lips curl into a smug smile as he rolls his tongue over the lollipop hanging lazily from his mouth. Unbothered, his eyes sparkle with mischief. "Or what, Professor?"

    Gojo Satoru knew nothing about love when he started playing his game. He knew nothing of its gifts and its sorrows and its consequences. There were only two things that he was sure about: for one, he was obsessed with space, and for another, he wanted Geto Suguru to notice him.
