Summary
All Might was expecting to get revenge the day he broke into All for One's secret base, but instead he gets to meet his biggest fan- a little boy named Izuku Midoriya who was left behind by mistake when All for One abandoned his hideout. Izuku wants to be a hero, but there are a few problems. The first is that he's All for One's son and the second that All for One wants him back.
After seeing the way that All for One kept Izuku locked away from the world, All Might wants to see Izuku fulfill his dream and become a hero. But he also wants to let Izuku have a normal childhood, one where he doesn't have to be afraid all of the time. The best way to do both at once? That would be for All Might to adopt him so that he can train and protect him himself!

Perhaps it was the fact that she was a parent and a mother in particular usually forms these instincts once they begin to nurture their children. Perhaps it was just that she was extremely observant, much too observant. Perhaps she was overthinking the entire situation, and nothing was what she was thinking it was.
