Summary
Shortly after the events in the Upside Down and their high school graduation, Mike Wheeler goes missing, being presumed dead within the year. Devastation falls onto the party, but they push themselves through it, choosing to pursue higher education across the East coast and commemorating Mike's name throughout their lives.
Five years later, Will is done with his studies and pursuing animation and art careers across New York City when a string of kidnappings and murders follow him too close for his liking, sparking a cycle of paranoia and anxiety throughout his daily life. Quickly, two things become obvious: Will Byers has a stalker, and no one around him is safe. No one knows who it could be, but deep in his gut, the name Michael Wheeler jumps out like a desperate prayer. The worst part of it? He can't convince himself that it truly bothers him.
