As he watched an entire team of doctors try to loosen the unconscious Zhang Qiling’s grasp on (the equally unconscious) Wu Xie, Pangzi spared a moment to wonder whose luck was worse: theirs, or these poor bastards’. If he was any less woozy, Pangzi would have warned the doctors to not bother; no force on earth, apparently up to and including his own body collapsing, could get Zhang Qiling to let go of Wu Xie.

He would give his body, his heart, his blood for the younger man if he knew it could save him. Instead, the only thing he’s able to do now is to be here and treat Wu Xie like the precious gem he is, Xiaoge’s focal point, the only anchor in this world.

Many cups speak of victory, bravery, power, or death.

Drinking his cup, however, is much more than gulping down whatever happens to be in there."It's been a year since Xiaoge's return from guarding the Bronze gate and since then, Iron Triangle managed to stay far from trouble and enjoy their momentary-if not permanent- retirement far from everyone in the Rain Village.
But what happens when Xiaoge suddenly disappears amid his latest mission and Wu Xie's newly earned and somehow normal days is once again disrupted only for him to realize that the peace and safety around him for the past year, was nothing but his mind playing tricks on him again.
No peace without confession. Wu Xie is forced to once again face his inner demons and hopefully this time he won't bury them under the facade of being fine.
That being said… the inner demons can take a back seat because once again he is on the verge of losing Xiaoge to the wheel of fate…Series
