Summary
The Walters’ robots are often referred to as marvels of science. Rightfully so too! I mean, aware and sentient automatons only 20 years after electric lights? The discovery of blue matter was integral to their creation and their continued functioning; However, it takes more than magic-ish elements to construct robots. Mechanics are also very important. How are these robots structured and how has this changed over time?

Ben Reilly would have to admit that his years were catching up to him in ways he hadn’t foreseen. After the fallout with Silvermane, Hardy, and generally getting his ass kicked before the ‘day was saved’ and they found their ‘happy ending,’ Reilly had gotten a comfortable week nursing his wounds and chumming around with his friends.
Going from zero to 100 in a little over a week was catching up to him. As such, he was not expecting to wake up one morning sick.
OR: One thing turns into another and a sick Ben Reilly stumbles his way into work, at the annoyance of his friends who need to get him back home to rest.
