Ilya likes getting Shane riled up, it’s one of his favourite things to do. Sending him sly little winks from his bench when he scores, pushing him against the wall and kissing him dirty, just before they have to leave.
He loves the look on Shane’s face, the hunger, the fire in his eyes.
So nobody can blame him when he sees that fire, and decides to poke it just a little more.
Well, maybe Shane can, but that just adds to the fun.

Nobody seemed to know who he was, but everyone agreed that he was Gatsby's.

Captain Logan made Ted get a soulmate timer when he turned 16 - and Ted was basically just relieved when it was zeroed out, because it meant he didn't really have to worry about it. He doesn't know who his soulmate is, but he's not desperate to go looking. Bill doesn't have a timer, because his dad never bothered to get him one - but suddenly Ted realizes that seems like a most egregious oversight, and now that they have money, they should totally get Bill a timer.
The trouble is - apparently Bill doesn't want one.

It’s a mutual getting.” They nudged their shoulder against their dad’s, “I’ll help you draft the text if you want, dude?”
So, with Ted’s battered phone between them, they pooled together all the romantic cells in their bodies and drafted a text to Bill. Billie didn’t comment on the fact that the entire time their dad’s hand were sweating so hard that it left a wet smear against the case of his phone and when they took the phone out his hand to read it out loud, Ted physically winced as he too noticed how damp his phone was.

Unlike Billie, though, Thea is wide awake. Her eyes are squeezed shut and her hands are clenched in fists, pounding into the mattress. Ted scoops her up into his arms, whispering to her as he checks for the source of the issue.
Her diaper is clean and she doesn't seem hungry, so it's likely that she just woke up earlier than she should have. Nothing a little lullaby won't fix.
He drags the beanbag over from the corner to the side of her crib, sitting down in it and placing Thea on his thigh. She's still crying, but her hands have gone still, and the tension in her knuckles is starting to relax.
So, Ted starts to sing.
