Summary
There are still plenty of biases and prejudices against omegas, even in the 21st century. Which is why for some families, it’s considered a shameful tragedy to produce one. For nearly 150 years, your family has only produced betas. So, rather than admit they produced an omega, your parents forced you to hide it instead. No matter how illegal it was or the risk it poses to your health.
It makes you miserable, but the need to obey is ingrained into your very DNA, so there’s not a lot you can do about it. No matter how miserable you get, you try to remind yourself that it could be so much worse. So what if you can never have a pack, a mate, or pups? At least you can work doing something you enjoy.
However, your life is on a collision course with an alpha from another world. Unlike everyone else you’ve met, he’s not filled by the lies you're forced to give and nearly believe.
