Atsushi slammed and locked the door behind him, putting all his weight on the door to avoid falling and took in a long breath. Ignoring the blood slowly pooling at the bottom of his feet, he slowly limped his way over to his futon, feeling his way there and leaning against anything he could as to not slip. After what seemed like forever he made it to his bedroom, the moonlight seeping through the curtains illuminating the room giving it a heavenly glow. Finally collapsing onto the bed he let out a long sigh of relief. Before quickly being interrupted by his stomach rumbling
He groaned, pressing his head harder into the pillow trying to ignore the hunger.

All he knew was what he managed to teach himself from the old books that, much like him, were cast aside and forgotten. So, he didn't know anything about the world. He didn't know about sex or romance or sexualities. All he knew was literature no one remembered. Kunikida and Dazai try teaching him what he needs to know but it takes a little while for Atsushi to grasp anything. And right when he thinks he's got a pretty good understanding of the modern world, he starts hearing the people close to Akutagawa referring to him with several different pronouns.”
