A virus breaks out in Japan and has slowly been spreading throughout the world. The infected people’s brains have been modified in which they feel the need to rely on human meat as sustenance. The majority of Yokohama has been infected, leaving only a few survivors who have been able to avoid the unknown virus. It is spread through blood and temporarily kills the host before they’re corpses are reanimated and they’re need for flesh arises. The use of abilities triggers something in the infected’s brains that causes them to go feral and attack the ability user, so such people have had to refrain from using their powers in order to have a better chance at surviving.

Ignoring the blood slowly pooling at the bottom of his feet, he slowly limped his way over to his futon, feeling his way there and leaning against anything he could as to not slip. After what seemed like forever he made it to his bedroom, the moonlight seeping through the curtains illuminating the room giving it a heavenly glow.
