Bucky immediately knew something was wrong when he woke up, muscles sore and arms pulled behind him, clothes gone. The last thing he remembered was laying on the roof of some building, carefully watching as Barton flirted his way through the club.
Barton.
Bucky’s head snapped up, eyes scanning the room even as his head protested the sudden movement and bright light.
There. Bucky let out a sigh of relief when he saw Barton sitting next to him, completely naked, looking a little bruised but otherwise unharmed.

Summary
Clint laid out the last of the rose petals leading toward the full bathtub, plastic glasses of wine set carefully on the ledge. He stood back to survey his handiwork. The tub steamed gently, a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries rested on the closed toilet seat, and soft music played from his phone, set carefully on the counter, far out of reach from the bath. The sound of a key turning the lock interrupted his inspection, making him curse and rush toward the living room, arriving just as Bucky opened the door.

They had been inseparable since Clint had recruited her to Shield, refusing to go on missions with anyone else, spending all their off time together; hell, Natasha knew more about Clint than anybody else ever had. So it made sense for them to get together.

“Um, hi, I’m Bucky?” he said, hating himself for the way it came out like a question.
“Hi Bucky,” the man answered, a wide smile on his tan face, “I’m Clint. What can I do for you?”
Inwardly thankful for this therapist for making him practice he said, “I was wondering if you had any volunteer opportunities?”
Clint gave him a considering look, bright blue eyes narrowed thoughtfully. Bucky was sure he was assessing him and finding him lacking, taking in the missing arm and coming up with a reason Bucky wouldn’t fit in. He was bracing himself for the rejection when Clint said, “sure.”

In 1997, Harry is searching for the Locket-Horcrux at Grimmauld Place. Instead, he finds a stack of yellowed parchment that not only tells a tale that's more captivating than it has any right to, but might also hold the key to information on the remaining Horcruxes. Regulus Black installed a failsafe.
Though neither Regulus, nor Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Sirius expected the result of the ritual to be quite this literal. With an Ex-Death Eater who was assumed to be dead in their midst, the Horcrux-hunt goes a bit differently. Regulus is mostly conflicted if his unexpected second chance is really worth all the trouble his company keeps putting him in.

For some people, finding a soulmate is the only goal, the only path forward. They need it, and Bucky just...doesn’t. He supposes it would be nice to have someone like that, but he doesn’t crave it like some people do. It doesn’t define him. He has a job that he likes well enough, and he has a great apartment, and he loves his family and his friends, and he has Clint, the best thing in his life since coming home from Afghanistan. It would be selfish to want anything more. He appreciates what he has, and he isn’t going to pretend that he’s incomplete just because no one’s ever blown his mind with a kiss.
