Summary
Every day on his way to work, Welt walks past a strange building. He thinks nothing about it until the day when he spots a young man sitting in a window like a bird in a cage. Ethereal, glum, beautiful, it’s as if Welt is the only one who sees him. Instantly, a sense of curiosity becomes a preoccupation that draws Welt past the point of hopelessly smitten.
