"Oh?" This was one of the rare times Alastor didn't immediately know what to say. He watched Vox's expression intently, setting his leg back down, lightly touching him again. This time, Vox wasn’t sure if it was an accident.
"Al, please don't do this to me." Alastor was surprised by the use of the old nickname and the sudden vulnerability in Vox's voice. His face displayed a mix of embarrassment, fear, and desperation. A sense of satisfaction grew in his chest and he decided to see how far he could take this before Vox would stop him.Or Alastor gets curious about sex and decides his best friend turned enemy would be an excellent choice to start.

Vox breaks the silence. ‘He’s intense, isn’t he?’
‘Well, that’s Val’s thing,’ Angel says, careful not to bad-mouth his boss, nor be disagreeable. He thumbs the rim of his glass. ‘What else were ya expectin’?’
Vox tilts his head. Those red eyes settle on him from the other side of the balcony, as if in answer. Angel feels something kindle in his chest.
Angel dares think, with a small thrill, did Valentino… not perform as well as he did?
(Vox goes to Angel for advice. ‘Advice’ esculates.)

Summary
Vox is attempting to endear himself to her. He’s been staying later than the others when she and Franklin entertain, offering to help her clean up, and she can see his ruse for what it is – a chance to learn more about the Radio Demon, a chance to ingratiate himself with Alastor’s current bosom buddy (oh, she’s very sure that he would replace her in Alastor’s affections, if he can figure out how). She needs to tread carefully if she wants to resolve this situation in way that works out for everyone. It won’t do any of them any good to put him on the menu, as tempted as she is to find out what the queer blue blood he bleeds tastes like.
