Summary
While innocently and illegally exploring the bunker one day, Dess Holiday discovers a kid monster unlike any she's seen before. It's furless. It's faceless. It's gray. And it seems like it's waiting for something to arrive.
Without any better ideas, she calls the local preschool teacher for help.
“Mizzus Dreemurr? Hey, uh. Hi. Weird question. Do you know any monsters in town that are, like... gray?"
"...What do you mean, it's a HUMAN?"
(Or, a fic where the discarded vessel ends up dumped in Hometown before any of the story takes place, and gets taken in by a local Dreemurr family.)

Summary
Kris didn’t care.
Kris couldn’t care.
The body kept the score, but the score could be overwritten in zeroes until it was empty and clean as a missing girl’s bedroom.
Don’t forget.
Ralsei was an object--less than an object, a concept, the washed-up seaglass fragments of old hopes and useless dreams. If Dess was here, she would’ve smashed him into fluff just for the EXPerience, and then she’d grin at Kris and flex her arm and they’d laugh and laugh and laugh.
And Susie? The bully who’d threatened to eat their face more times than they could count? That Susie?
If Dess was here, she would’ve smacked the hell out of Susie, too. There was only room for one mean girl in Hometown.
So why should Kris care if they liked the SOUL more than Kris? None of it was real. Susie and Ralsei only got close because they'd gotten to know the SOUL, and the SOUL made everyone better people.
...Except Dess and Kris. Even the sheer power of a human SOUL couldn’t remake the worst outcasts in Hometown into good people.
Wasn’t there something kinda satisfying about that?

Summary
For any adult monster past a certain age, it’s likely they’ll come across at least one human in daily life. Although humans are often territorial and value privacy, their similar natures to monsterkind have lead to inevitable crossed paths and interactions over shared resources across history.
I, myself, have studied humans for decades, and am now proud to say I am one of monsterkind’s most leading experts on humanity. Far beyond the cold, war-mongering animals that they’re often depicted as in documentaries or horror movies, I believe humans are thoughtful, emotionally complex, and even empathetic beings! Summary
Well.
They supposed the voice had warned them that there’d be only one ending--no matter the save file, no matter the choices made, no matter the secrets gathered.
But they had to admit, three timelines in one birdcage was... a bit cramped.
The Neutral Voice huffed a sigh as their heart drifted, bumping against thin metal bars in the dark. “Well, then. Guess there’s nothing to do now but wait for next year. Don’t suppose any of you brought a magazine?”
OR: stuck waiting for Chapter 5, three save files compare their very different thoughts and experiences.

Summary
It was weird. She could feel the figure wiggling against either side, but not the bottom. Like whatever was stuck inside it was floating. And it was warm against her scales, almost hot. Through the cracks she’d made in the paper mâché, she kept spotting flickers of red, like blood.
...Maybe it really WAS a severed hand.
Susie raised an eyebrow, then grinned. What if she took a quick peek before Noelle got back? Just so she’d know how to keep a hold on it. (And not at all because the curiosity was driving her nuts.)
She tipped the figure back, yawning it open against her palm like a clam shell. Warm red light washed over the lines on her skin, brighter than ever, and the steady thumping got louder. And louder. And brighter. And louder. And brighter. And...
And then, all at once, a bright red SOUL toppled out and started floating in Susie’s hand.

Summary
After being manipulated to equip the Thorn Ring to Noelle, Kris has a conversation with their SOUL, and comes to a horrific realization.
---
Loosely inspired by a theory that the ending of Deltarune will be so terrible that the Weird Route exists to circumvent it. (i don't actually believe this but it makes for good drama)
