Summary
Midoriya Izuku was born with a quirk and he dreamed of becoming a hero, two things which were not incredibly uncommon. Unfortunately, hero work was more welcoming to some quirk types than others, which was often the reason so many would-be heroes fell short of their dream. Nearly everyone in Midoriya's life had succinctly decided he would be one such person. Despite his quirk, he was determined to be a hero.
Or: Midoriya has a quirk (inspired by my favorite Naruto fighting technique), and he aims to use it to be a hero. He will be applying to Yuuei University, not U.A. High School, as the characters are aged up (and I like neither "UA" nor the periods in "U.A."). Also, Midoriya will fall in love along the way, so that's pretty neat, I would say.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku watched his best friend, Uraraka Ochako, date on and off through the years, but none of her would-be suitors ever seemed to work out. Even so, he was always a little uncomfortable when she mentioned them. But that's to be expected when he once thought he'd be the one to date her once they graduated from UA. That never happened though, and he was over his teenage crush after so many years. At least, he thought he was.
Kirishima Eijirou never questioned why his best friend, Bakugo Katsuki, didn't show interest in relationships. He happily assumed the explosive hero was just content to blow villains up and snap at "extras" who got in his way. That assumption allowed him to secretly foster his feelings for the abrasive man, even if he was fairly certain nothing would come of it. But he could pretend, right?
However, when Izuku and Eijirou watch the objects of their affection fall in love with one another, both have to find ways to move on. They slowly begin to see that they can help each other do so, learning about themselves and their relationship needs along the way.

Eijirou finally snaps after Izuku pushes himself a little too hard. Instead of being angry, Eijirou does something that's almost worse in Izuku's opinion. Eijirou takes care of him. Smothers him with sincerity, love, and flips Izuku's opinions of heroism entirely upside down.
Izuku never saw himself as somebody who needed saving, until he was saved.
