A human Alastor attempts a new ritual with a strange glowing tablet. It summons Vox, the Broadcast Demon. Recognizing a once in eternity opportunity to reshape fate and claim Alastor’s loyalty, affection, and soul before it ever slips away. He offers a deal. There’s just one problem...Alastor might be more perceptive than Vox would ever expect a human to be. If Vox wants Alastor to be his in Hell, he'll have to find a way to lock the human down before he catches onto Vox's schemes.

In 1933 Alastor manages to summon a demon with a rectangular, glowing head who keeps staring at him like he can't decide between tearing him apart and worshipping him at his feet.
Meanwhile, Vox just blew up himself and the entire universe and suddenly stands before a second chance. He simply has no idea what that second chance entails.

Vincent, unable to help it, turned up the radio, (again). He loved to hear people talk about himself, especially if they had such a lovely tone. He hadn’t caught the host's name, maybe he’d-
“They could be anyone of us. Killer, if you’re listening…”
The voice continued, uncaring of his inner thoughts. He held his breath, almost worried the smooth tongue would slip away forever lest he gave it his full focus.
“Then make yourself known.”
With how the voice had just asked Vincent so prettily?

Vincent has gone down to Louisiana, needing to continue rising through the ranks of stardom across television. But then he ends up meeting Alastor, a local Radio Star with a bad attitude that Vincent would love to fix.
Too bad Alastor liked being difficult.
