White lace, ornate. She’d taken her time picking it out. It’s one of the more fun traditions and she’d always imagined doing it when she imagined her wedding. But marriage is compromise according to everybody she knows and if Conrad didn’t want the garter then she could let it go. She still thought about it, though—privately. Jeremiah had been excited about it, when it was them. Had even joked about wearing a matching one himself, just to switch it up a little.
