Summary
Two weeks after the battle of the hotel, Charlie and the others are still reeling from their losses and changes. Alastor hasn’t returned, Pentious is gone, and there’s a whole new hotel to set up as they prepare for new Sinners in the program. And to make matters even stranger, an unexpected person shows up at the hotel doors asking for sanctuary: Lilith, Queen of Hell, missing for seven years.
Charlie is more than happy to give her mom a place to stay and hide after hearing the story of her kidnapping. But Lilith has other objectives in mind, and Charlie finds herself shoved into an empty pocket world made of literal nothingness for her own protection.
Well, nearly empty. At least she knows where Alastor is, now.

Unfortunately, Heaven did not take too kindly to a sinner killing Adam, nor the fact that Lucifer had to get involved. He has been summoned to Heaven not by Sera, but by Michael.
Charlie has never seen her father so terrified in her life.
Something was not right with Heaven, that much she knew. Charlie glanced at the crumpled letter Lucifer had left behind, and felt dread grip her throat. What else was Heaven lying about?

Summary
Charlie has always wondered why Alastor always smiled... it taunted her ever since she saw the stitches lining his face when they made that deal.
She could see it in his eyes, the curse he could hide so damn well under it. She wanted to help break him from it, from that binding.
But it all depends if The Radio Demon cooperates.
After all, eyes don't lie.
