Summary
“Pity your previous sword couldn’t bear the full might of such power…” Ghirahim sighed, only to grip Sky’s arms with sudden fervor. “But I can, Link. I will grant you more strength than you could ever dream of, and you—you can give me a purpose.”
The thought was appalling. It was blasphemy. It was absurd. Did Ghirahim honestly think he would agree to it? “Never,” he snapped. He would never entertain even the thought of allying himself with such a malicious creature.
For just a blink, Ghirahim’s soft smile faltered, only to be plastered back on.
“It’s only fair, skychild,” he said pleasantly. “You killed my master.” His voice hardened. “I am now your right.”
——————
Or: Sky is ecstatic to be back home, but his hopes are dashed by the reappearance of Ghirahim. The chaos of fighting black-blooded monsters and chasing the shadow is only made worse by a desperate Demon Lord who will do anything it takes to make Sky his master.

Summary
Link is a failure.
It’s something he’s always known, he thinks, deep down within himself. A heavy feeling it is: failure. It seeps in through his nose, clogging his throat and making it impossible to breathe, swirling around his temples and bringing a constant ache, settling into his stomach with a weight that brings him to his knees. It loops around his arms, his fingers, holding him in its clutches until he can do nothing but succumb.
Here, in this space between light and dark, this pocket of in between realities, he succumbs. He falls, down and down and down, plummeting to a dark sea. Black and red. Blood and deep, deep water. But Link does not sink. No, he walks. That feeling, horrible and domineering, pulls him like a puppet along the raging sea.
In which the Chain meets after the events of Tears of the Kingdom and Sky is the last to join. It takes time for trust to be earned, especially with added confusion regarding the Goddess and timelines.
You know the drill.

Summary
(adjective)
1. to or in a lower or worse condition or status; defeated; not operating or able to function
(noun)
2. a covering of soft, fluffy feathers characteristic of birds.// A multichapter sickfic featuring Sky being the chain's primary caretaker as they're sick and laid up one by one. Purely self-indulgent h/c, I think the kids call this an 8+1.

Summary
Sky's always been easily tired, easily sick, easily weakened by phantom pain.
If it had been bad on Skyloft growing up, it was certainly worse on his adventure down on the Surface, running on stamina fruit and desperation.
Now, weeks of straight travel on the road later, it was taking a far more sinister turn.

Summary
Sky has only just figured out that Ganon is the manifestation of Demise's curse when he starts noticing... something working its way up the chain. Nobody is okay, Sky least of all, but he’s determined to figure out what’s going on or die trying.
He has no idea what he’s getting himself into.
This is a story of pain, fear, loss, and somehow, despite it all, courage.
