But when I hear about the deaths and suffering they endured, well, perhaps it's time to pick a side, and they may have robbed me, but they're the kindest criminals I've met. Wasn't the January 2016 Stevenbomb awesome? Off the back of "Log Date 7 15 2," I came up with a small happy silly ficlet for my current favourite gay space rock ship.
Then it grew into a whole big thing exploring Gem relationships and redemption. It began as Amedot, and that ship does continue throughout, but a lot of Jaspearl bubbled up and somewhat took over. So this is a love story about Amethyst and Peridot, about Jasper and Pearl, about Lapis Lazuli, and about the Crystal Gem/Universe family growing and changing.Discontinued here but recommenced over at Side-Step, which is E-rated. My apologies to people who would prefer to avoid the smut elements, but it got too fiddly to keep them separated.

“It’s done. I’m not gonna be a Talon agent, but I’ll join you.” Reaper never takes his eyes off Widowmaker. With easy motions, she vaults off the balcony and lands before him. He watches her as she saunters up to him, putting her rifle on her shoulder. Dead and distant, she smiles, "Salut, Reaper."

They can try to change it, modify it, make it easier for a normal soldier, but it won’t work. He knows. The heavy pulse rifle had been made for him. Behind the visor Jack smiles. Add this to the list of “things that will help him destroy the world.” And god, he’s gonna feel great while doing it.

Gabriel’s wearing a stylized skull mask, the eyes dark, the cheeks hollow - shells and carrier containers strapped across his chest and hips. He’s still twirling the shotguns in his hands, when - (He stops, because there’s a figure in the south tunnel - their face masked in reds, hefting a heavy pulse rifle, left hand raised to their visor -)
He stops. And Jack stops. And even though neither of them can actually see the other’s face they make eye contact.
