Summary

The Second Wizarding War is over, and the powers that be want to get everything "back to normal" as quickly as possible. The Golden Trio are war heroes, and Margo Black is doing what she can to restore honour to the Malfoy & Black family names, promote Muggle-world knowledge throughout the Wizarding World, and indulge her fascination with blending Maths and Magic. Unfortunately for her, her conduct during the War has left her with enemies on all fronts, including the inside of her own head. “Not necessarily. Well, yes, I suppose you could interpret it that way.” Hermione paused as she considered the possibility. “Certainly, empirical observation and experimentation, given carefully pre-determined measures, would be vastly superior to what I have managed to excavate thus far.”
“And that would be…”
“Well, really, there are a dearth of reliable sources.” Her tone suggested annoyance at the failure of the BDSM community to provide adequate, scientific justification for the basis of most practices. “It really is shocking how little empirical and evidence-based literature exists, particularly anything subjected to multiple layers of anonymous peer review. I’ve been reliant on muggle-sourced, fictionalized video, brief instructional manuals, some reflective essays, and re-imagined narrative works utilizing characters and plots derived from existing media.”
“You are consulting porn.”
“Only to augment the sparse extant literature.”
