“What, Eraser, you a ninja now?” he taunts without turning to look at him. Boring.
“You’re under arrest, kid. Don’t make this difficult,” the man sighs, and Shoto almost feels sympathy at the evident exhaustion in his voice.
“I don’t think so. I have a date tonight, and so do you,” he counters, gesturing widely toward the seemingly endless files surrounding him. Those will be transferred to the police now. Eraserhead is just the man for the job.
He feels the knife withdraw and turns to meet the man’s tired eyes. “I’ll buy you a coffee next time, old man.”
“Sure, we can stop for a coffee on the way to the police station.”
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, gramps. But hey, I’ve got someone waiting for me. See ya.”
Shoto was born into the world as a nobody—no quirk, no soulmate. His worth, therefore, is nonexistent, right? Well, as the vigilante Nexus, he’s about to prove them all wrong.
On April 20th, a mysterious soulmark appears on Shoto Himura’s chest.

Summary
Todoroki Shouto made a deal with his father to get out of his alpha reformatory school: he'll tolerate being in his father's class at UA as if he's any other teacer, so long as Endeavor treated him like any other student, and so long as he let Shouto get in with his own strength by taking the general entrance exam.
Bakugou Katsuki isn't really an omega. That's what everyone says. He doesn't count, he's basically an alpha, and everyone assumes he's an alpha anyway. Except now he's at UA and suddenly people care about these things, want to stick their noses in and have opinions no one asked for.

“What are you doing here, kid?” Oh. He’s early.
“Hi, Eraserhead.” Shouto greets. Naturally just his knowledge of the underground hero’s name raises suspicion. He knows a lot of other things too.
It’s not safe up on the rooftops. Go home. Shouto recites in his head.
“It’s not safe up on the rooftops. Go home.” Eraserhead says. He worries, every time. Shouto has learnt to sit down before he gets there, so that he doesn’t look like he’s about to jump. But a kid sitting alone on a rooftop still isn’t normal. Not that Shouto ever was.

Shouto makes a deal with the devil, to escape from the future his father had mapped out for him. It doesn’t take long for him to realise that being forgotten by everyone is not a blessing, but a curse.

As much as Jirou wanted to reassure her ‘acquaintance’ that his problems were valid, even she couldn’t keep her composure as he continued to insist that Todoroki Shouto—who she had once caught dragging twelve bags full of strawberry milk up to his room—who she had seen watching Mulan at 3 a.m. once—who she had to explain how to properly make instant ramen to the other day—was a vicious, cruel, demonic creature.

Todoroki Shouto just wanted a date, but he’ll take being probed and investigated if that’s all he can get out of Bakugou Katsuki.
