    He never thought he'd be lying on a grimey campsite bathroom floor in the early hours of the morning, so early the sun hadn't yet risen, weighing out the pros and cons of staying here until his eyes closed indefinitely: if the world's clearly given up on him, why shouldn't he give up on him too?
