Summary
Dante doesn't know why he bothered dragging his sorry ass back from Hell, but at least he got to meet his nephew. And wasn't that just a kick in the gut, that Vergil had moved on with his life, hadn't suffered from the same emptiness and longing as Dante during the year between their reunion and Temen-ni-gru. Now truly alone, he wastes his days passing up jobs he could care less about while secretly longing for the next world ending catastrophe, hoping that maybe the next one will be enough to finally put him down for good. So when some new evil stirs, he ignores it like everything else, until a demon invokes the one thing guaranteed to bring out the worst in Dante....Vergil. Now he must survive a journey though the worst moments of both their lives for the slim chance at bringing him back.
