Summary
Dream wasn’t oblivious. Maybe not the best with more subtle social cues, maybe a little colorblind when it came to red flags in people he liked, but he could pick up what other people were putting down. He could realize when people had crushes on him and in a much more specific sense, Karl was really bad at hiding the fact that he had a crush on Dream.
“I’m just saying, if Punz and Sapnap can both lift me, then you could definitely carry me,” Karl flirted. Dream could practically picture the way he leaned into his microphone as he half-purred the words. It was as vivid as the shade of red in Dream’s cheeks as he blushed at the words. “What I wouldn’t give to try that out! I bet you’re super strong, right?”
No, the issue wasn’t realizing that Karl liked him. Far from it. In fact, it was entirely possible and even likely that Dream was supposed to know that. The issue was expressing the fact that Dream liked Karl back because every time Karl toed the line into flirting-
“Uhm. Yeah!” Well, Dream turned into a disaster case.

Billy picks up a butterfly bandage, holds it between his fingers for Steve to see. Waits for Steve to drop his chin in a nod, and then presses it into place against Steve’s busted eyebrow. It’s the best Billy has to give.
This probably isn’t going to work out. This thing Billy’s been trying to have with Steve since he got to Hawkins. Steve’s got these soft edges where Billy’s all blunt and sharp.
Billy drags his fingertips down the side of Steve’s face, presses his thumb against the scar he didn’t leave, and lifts a brow. “How many fights do you lose, Harrington?”
Steve grins, a half-formed thing that is sharp and sad at the same time. “All of them.”

This is so good. As someone who is questioning if they are asexual or not I really related to atsumu and this is definitely a really good story and definitely a tear jerker.
