Summary
It’s summer 2017 and Hollander is getting married to Rose Landry. Ilya has buried his father a few months back and nothing awaits him in Russia, not when he just got his U.S. citizenship and no longer feels indebted to his mother land.
So when he receives a call from Hollander to help him with the wedding preparations, he drops everything and agrees to stay at the cottage for the two weeks preceding the wedding. No matter how much his heart cracks and the bile claws its way through his abdomen.
OR, Ilya helps Shane prepare his wedding and along the way (more like at the end, yes), admits to some feelings.
PS: No cheating involved, emotionally nor physically.

Ilya Rozanov never bothered correcting people, but it wasn’t his job to fit their expectations either.
He wasn’t hiding it, it just wasn’t important, and he wasn’t the type to show off (oh, Shane would laugh at that, but for this specific aspect it was true).It just never came up. Until it did.
