Summary
7 years after the war and 6 years after he first heard his soul bond’s call August is going back to the sacred cliffs in the hopes of finally meeting his dragon. Everyone is soul bond to a dragon. All his friends have meet theirs, all his soldiers, even Laurent bonded with his half last year. However, permanently injured after the battle of Marlas, August is starting to fear he his dragon does not wish to be bond to a broken man.

And really, that was never even a choice for Bad.
