his muscles lock into place before he can complete the action of bringing his other foot into the room, and his palms unconsciously start sparking, as if in reaction to a singularly ominous threat.
except, whatever’s the threat, seems to be everywhere around him, all at once.
red meets blue and gray.
it doesn’t take more than a few seconds for him to realize that one of his classmates isn’t human.'
(or, katsuki finds himself in the unique position of an eldritch whisperer, and everyone, including him, suffers.)
