Clarke grew up with the Blake siblings and somewhere along the way between the late night talks under the stars and helping each with homework and chores she fell in love with Bellamy.
Bellamy can't remember a time he didn't have feelings for his blonde haired, blue eyed best friend. For years he's kept his feelings and stolen glances to himself knowing that if he ever had a taste of what being hers felt like, Clarke would inevitably break his heart when she found her soulmate.

“So, what do we do? How can we help Buck stop spiraling from being in love with Eddie?” Chimney sighed, exhausted. “I don’t know how much longer I can handle eating lemon pastries, guys.”
“I once promised I wouldn’t interfere,” Maddie said, shaking her head, “and I plan to keep that promise, at least until those two finally pull their heads out of their asses.”
“What do you mean ‘once’?” Ravi asked, confused. “How long have you thought Buck’s in love with Eddie?”
“Since the day he showed up at Abby’s place talking about how amazing Eddie and his son were.”
Hen, Karen, Athena, Bobby, and Chimney’s eyes all widened. Ravi was the only one who didn’t get why that was so shocking.
“For those who don’t get it, just a few shifts after meeting, specifically after the earthquake” and then Ravi’s eyes went wide too. “Yeah, now you all understand what I’ve been dealing with all this time?”

“Why are you the way you are?” he asks and Buck freezes in his movements. Eddie sounds serious — like he’s genuinely upset. With Buck?
“What, um,” Buck tries, clearing his throat awkwardly, a sinking feeling growing in his gut. “What do you mean?”
“‘s fucking annoying,” Eddie slurs, rolling his eyes again and leaning back to look at the ceiling as if it’s something interesting. “”’nd exhausting.”
Buck’s heart drops, remembering Eddie’s words in the grocery store all those years ago. Eddie just yawns and closes his eyes with a sigh.
“D’you know how exhausting it is to be around you?”
