Deep wants to get away from Homelander, but he is scared Homelander would find him and he would get hurt. He accepted Homelander's verbal and physical abuse towards Deep and knows if he protests, he would get hurt even worse. He has been going through this for so long that the abuse feels like love, questioning if he really wanted to leave.
Homelander wants to get rid of Deep, because he is useless. He can't do anything right. He was only a human punching bag or a sex toy to Homelander. Deep was weak and a joke compared to the rest of the seven.
After Deep was exiled and got gill-raped by some random 'fan', he took a swim in the Sandusky river to clear his mind and saw a guy jumping of a bridge.!! DISCLAIMER !! I do not condone or respect the actions that are happinging in this work/fanfic. I wrote this as I went through a rough time and My love and support goes out to all S/A survivors.
The Title is a lyric from the song Over & Over by Rio Romeo
