“Thank you, dear,” Peach said, taking the black envelope.
“Well, is it a rejection like we expected?” Mario asked.
Peach opened the parcel with delicate fingers and read it carefully, her eyes widening with each subsequent word. She let her hands drop to her sides, gave her husband-to-be a bewildered stare, and bit her lip before saying-
“No, it’s an acceptance. Bowser has agreed to come to our wedding.”
