The administrator processing his discharge papers pauses in surprise when she reaches the endowment section on his papers, and he just barely manages to keep from rolling his eyes. With the exception of medical professionals, endowment experts, or the rare few who bother to learn anything more than the basics of their own gift, people always assume that nothing unpleasant ever befalls a winder.
