His name means Palace, though he is born into squalor. It gets worse from there. Madmen, like orchids, only grow in very specific conditions. These are the missing pieces of Kefka Palazzo's youth and development, and perhaps the missing pieces of Kefka himself.
Authors note:
I don't condone the actual pairing of Kefka with Terra, but I do believe that given their mutual circumstances, some kind of relationship between the two is inevitable. They are both young, orphaned, confused, and being trained as weapons. They are both a reflection of how powerless having absolute power can render a person. There aren't very many kids being raised by the empire, so naturally the two will have nowhere else to seek comfort. I believe there was a time when he may have considered loving her, but we all know how their story ends.The focus of this piece isn't on the romantic implications of their relationship but it will definitely be a factor. There's my disclaimer and my warning. I don't sail their ship (trust me I'd rather have him for myself), but it's leaving the harbor with or without my permission.

Summary
An out of order collection of scenes from my Kipo AU, taking place after Hugo sacrifices himself to save his family.
Here in the birdcage, he is safe and loved, but how did he get here? How does he get home? And does he even want to?
Sofi seems to love him, but who is she?
Mostly this is working through all of his trauma and learning to fill the gaps in his life that are missing from growing up in isolation, becoming a madman, and discovering his true self only days before his death.
And yes, a lot of this is dirty af. After all, Hugo reached sexual maturity in isolation, and by the time he became Scarlemagne, he was running on equal parts vengeance and sexual frustration.
These chapters will eventually get put in cohesive order but you can enjoy their interactions as one shots for now.I love this monkey man so hard I had to make him his own OC so that he could have a little bit of happiness.

Summary
This story takes place simultaneously during 14th century France before the death of Beetlejuice, and in the present(ish) day, approximately 50 years after his last meeting with former best friend, Lydia Deetz, where the Ghost with the most is finally seen by someone new.
My interpretation of the character is equally spread between movie canon, the animated series, and the musical version.

Summary
A love letter to FFVI, a novelization of the game filtered through a Locke/Celes perspective but not wholly centered on them. Starting with that fateful meeting in South Figaro and continuing onward through the rest of the World of Balance (we'll break the world eventually). It was supposed to stick pretty close to the original — and it follows the flow of the original game story, with all the big pieces there! — but it's a bit more of an adaptation now. I've tried to breathe more life into the world, flesh out the characters and their relationships, and address some plot holes; I hope you'll enjoy my changes and still see the game we love so much at the heart of it.
Alternating POVs between Celes and Locke, but other characters and other relationships are important, too.
MOST RECENT UPDATE: Chapter 32, "Ice and Flame." In the aftermath of the fall of Thamasa, the emotional ramifications must be dealt with before preparations for the next battle can begin.
