Summary
Sonic escapes from his prison a month before the resistance was supposed to find him, caused by a malfunction in the power supply. Infinite is tasked with recapturing the hedgehog before he and Eggman's plans of world domination are ruined. 2 days later, Shadow gets intel from Rouge about Sonic’s escape and finds him and Infinite at a standoff in Sunset Heights.
