But Lando’s just helping Oscar out.
So he drags his nails down Oscar’s scalp as his other hand digs into the back of Oscar’s neck, and Oscar lets out this whine that sounds weak and melting and so fucking good, and then Oscar suddenly sits up, bright red, and announces he has to leave.
In short:
Oscar's got a thing about his shoulders. He's good at hiding it, until he's not, at which point Lando starts having a thing about Oscar's shoulders.Oh, and also, Oscar really, really likes praise.

“Dude, Spiderman was opposite the building again! He’s been there so much recently, I’m starting to think he lives here or something.”
Oscar choked on a french fry, lightly patting his chest and grabbing his drink to wash it down. “Have you thought about the fact that he probably likes the area?”
“No! He goes there with a hoodie and a backpack, he’s probably on his way home or something! Could you imagine? Spiderman could actually live in the flats opposite us!” Lando exclaimed, turning his head to the window and he could slightly see the same building. The world now becoming suffocated by the increasing darkness, the sunset long gone.
Oscar pinched the bridge of his nose, “I think you’re reading into this way too much, mate.”

Oscar exhales loudly through his nose, working to set his face in a strict, flat expression. “What? No, you can’t look through my things.”
“Aw, why not?” A whine tears out of Lando’s mouth. His lips even form a little pout. “Please, Osc? You were such a cute kid! I want to see what cute little Oscar collected.”
“It’s not just from when I was a kid,” Oscar tries. “I mean, there’s stuff from school and karting and stuff.”
Lando scoffs a bit. “Ok, well, your mum sent it, so I know there’s not like your weird hentai in there or something. Well… maybe if she’s cool with the bottom eyes. But still, I wanna know what teen Oscar liked too.”
“Ok, I don’t watch hentai just because I learned Japanese, you freak,” Oscar says. “And even if I did, do you really think I would keep that as a keepsake?”
“Well, I can find out if you let me see what’s inside.”

The finality in Lando’s voice leaves Oscar no other choice but to nod in agreement.
Lando’s grin is blinding, getting up to head out. “It’s a date.”
With that, Lando’s out of sight, and Oscar tries his hardest to get him out of mind as well.

With all the stress of the triple header, the championship and being the best prepared for the final race, they haven’t had any time to think about anything else. And with all the busy schedules after the final race, it definitely felt like it’s been too long since Lando could completely lose himself in Oscar’s body like this. Here, with Oscar beneath him, Lando feels a kind of freedom he’s been craving for weeks.

Upon hearing about Oscar’s contract renewal, the reality of their future together starts to sink in. Realizing he’s going to be alongside him for quite some time, Lando decides to now make it his mission to become even closer to the young Australian. Not just as a teammate, but as a friend. The idea seems simple enough, after all, he’s never had trouble becoming friends with his teammates in the past.
Oscar isn’t the same wide-eyed rookie who stepped into his life months ago. He’s more confident, more bold and getting increasingly more comfortable around Lando. But the older boy finds himself drawn to Oscar in ways he can’t quite understand, having to wrestle with certain thoughts whenever Oscar so much as smiles in his direction. The line between friendship and something deeper is getting harder to discern when Lando realizes his affection for Oscar might be evolving into something he never anticipated.

Summary
It was the freshest bit of gossip the whole school had the minute Oscar Piastri enrolled. Everyone spoke about the son of a Death Eater attending Hogwarts.
Piastri is off-putting, yes. Eerily stoic at times and a growing nuisance to Lando when he bests him at duels in front of everyone. But does Lando think this kid is some evil and dangerous wizard? Frankly, he couldn’t care less about what this kid is.
He just needs to beat him next time they’re opponents.

Lando and Oscar are rivals with a deep rooted hatred for each other, both vying to win a prestigious competition at Hogwarts. But the road to becoming a victor will be tricky as they become each other’s distraction and obsession.
