    A Greek!AU

    There are only a few rules Tony asks from his fellow gods and goddesses.

    One: don’t interfere with mortal business. He didn’t care that Sparta and Athens were at one another throats, he thought it was pretty entertaining in all honesty. This rule was mainly pointed towards the two sets of twins: let the humans figure their problems out.

    Two: given his previous entanglements, no one was allowed to mingle with mortals. This new era of Olympus meant no more drama with the humans, and no more half human half god babies. This rule was mainly to keep his new wife happy, and keep everyone in check. No more torture due to jealousy, and no more sabotaging one another.

    Three: absolutely under no circumstances was anyone allowed to step foot on mortal ground. He knew it would only lead to a mess that (inevitably) he would have to clean up. Too much of a hassle. There was plenty to do in Olympus anyway!

    The year is 429 BC, and one God is about to break all these rules for one shot at eternal love.

    “I am Circe. I am the one saving your stupid hides from getting tortured more.” I walked forward, standing in front of the gun. “I owe you nothing. But after this, all of you owe me many favors. Now, I suggest you give me back my gun before I am pushed to take it from you.”

    Because Circe was the daughter of the Greek Goddess Hecate and a power-hungry HYDRA scientist, she has had a tough life. After many years of experiments were done in order for her to obtain powers, Circe finally presented. Unfortunately, she was an Omega, and her father allowed her Alpha guards to hurt her in every way possible to ensure the gain of powers. When she was older and had gained their trust, she vanished.

    When former-SHIELD Director, Nick Fury, enters a Mercenary Bar looking for the infamous assassin, Circe, she is taken aback by the job he assigns her: find and retrieve the kidnapped Avengers. She does so, of course, but at a price: the Avengers have taken a liking to her -- at least, most of them have. She is forced to work with them through numerous missions, trying to escape after every debriefing (to no avail).

    But the Avengers are confused: why can Circe not tell they are her soulmates?
