Somewhere in the distance, a light tingling sound echoes through the room.
Yeosang stands up. "Alright, Hagrid," he says and the joking note gets hopelessly lost in the shakiness of his voice. "Thanks for the tea. I have to go, my, uh, goldfish is waiting for me. Thank you."

Summary
Of all the wonderful curiosities and treasures in the wizard’s tower San is in charge of cleaning, his favourite has always been the wind-up doll. Life-size and more beautiful than any living creature, its delicate porcelain features fascinate San, draw him in. And if San sometimes tells the doll about his day or sings to it while he’s busy cleaning, that’s between him and the doll. Hey, being apprenticed to a grouchy old wizard who lives miles from the nearest town can get lonely sometimes.
Then one night, when the wizard is away, San wakes to discover an intruder in their tower. Someone is trying to steal the doll.

"I've got a few. Why?" he says, testing the waters, not fully sure where San's coming from. Despite his attempts to keep it light, his wolf feels unsettled, unsure. San's intentions don't feel hostile exactly, but they're unreadable, and Wooyoung doesn't like what he can't read.
San's gaze holds his for a long beat, and then he smirks, that confident glint back in his eyes.

"He can't just come here and insult us—insult you." His tone is sharp, and Yeosang realizes, with a jolt, that Jongho's protectiveness isn't just for himself. He's defensive of his entire pack. Yeosang straightens slightly, doing his best to keep his voice even, though his heart is pounding.

Omega Yeosang is assigned to help an alpha with a temper for the sake of peace. He’s not sure he can handle it. He’s never handled anyone so angry. So…up in his head he can barely see his own mistakes.
