Summary
I'm a HUGE Dr. Stome fan with a massive, (pathetic), crush on our mad scientist Senku Ishigami. And because I can't find fanfic to calm my raging heart, I decided to write one!!!
As you can clearly see, I am unhinged. So expect this fic to follow suit ;)
This story follows our lovely reader who isn't a big fan of changes or anything that might disrupt her perfect little ecosystem. And needless to say, shit hits the fan when the ENTIRE FREAKING WORLD TURNS TO STONE. Now, she is working along with her fellow 21st-century people to restore what she once had.
Unfortunately for all of us, our cute little reader, (you), have an overwhelming desire to stay as far away as possible from our mad scientist, (Senku). Due to the fact that he alone is what seems to cause your world to change so much.
What will happen when you, for some twisted reason, become a deity of Ishigami village because of a poorly aged joke, and you are forced to stay by Senku’s side? Which causes a lot of arguing, banter, and maybe something more?

“At the diner…?” Millie tilts her head to the side, frowning thoughtfully. “No, I don’t think so… Why? Was someone watching you?”
“I—” Meryl drags her hand down her face. “Well, I don’t know. I thought so, but maybe I was imagining things. Either way, if you didn’t notice him then, it must’ve been someone else…”

Meryl notices eyes on her, but ignores her misgivings until she ultimately has to confront the situation head on.

Summary
“Missed you,” Meryl mumbles, and wraps her legs around his waist when her feet are free. Vash hums again by way of response, his hands returning to the undersides of her thighs. The lighting changes as he takes them from the hallway to the bedroom, where Meryl thinks the lights are off. Though of course, with her eyes closed and her face buried in Vash’s shirt, it’s hard to tell.
“I missed you too,” Vash tells her, sweetly, never the type to let something like that go unaddressed. “Millie and Wolfwood are out for dinner. They promised to bring something back for us.”
Meryl considers this information as Vash sets her, carefully, on the bed. As his hands drift from her ears—where they remove her earrings—down to her collar, where they begin the process of unbuttoning her jacket, Meryl finally asks, “Why didn’t you go with them?”
Vash tilts his head. “I didn’t want you to come back to an empty house.”

Vash helps Meryl to bed after a long day of work.
