Every time you run into Wanderer and he treats you badly, you get sadder. You thought he would change after... well, after everything that happened. You thought you could become friends. And he shows you, time and time again, he has no interest in being nice to you.
So, when you can't take this anymore, you decide it's time to leave to Fontaine, let Sumeru stay in the past. Forget... him.
But, just as you're about to leave, Nahida recruits you to complete one last mission in Sumeru: explore ancient ruins and retrieve the treasures within before they are lost forever. And now you are stuck with Wanderer for a little longer while he keeps being an asshole and you keep simping hard for him. What could go wrong?

I was inspired by an old favorite song - The Take Over, The Break's Over by Fall Out Boy. I really wanted to make a story about a protective A!Astarion reuniting with his ex-lover who has a shit husband and it became a WAY longer story than I intended. Super smutty and quite heavy throughout.
