Summary
Back then, he’d been on the other line of a phone as well. Calling out to someone who couldn’t respond as they fought for their life. In the East, he was useless to help Hughes, his fate already damned long before their lines had been connected. He couldn’t – wouldn’t – let fate repeat itself. Roy refused to listen as another person he cared about died.
While fishing for the ones responsible for his best friend's murder, Roy finds himself once again on the other end of a phone call while someone he loves is fighting for their life. Only this time, he can do something about it.
End of Episode 18 and beginning of 19 from Roy's POV
