“You did what?” Katsuki sputters from where he’s walked in, face flushing in what Denki assumes to be anger, “and no one fucking told me, because?”
“Katsuki!” Denki wails, falling to his knees and holding his hands out in front of him, “please grant me safety. You were gone and I was starving.”
“No one probably told you because you’ve been extremely protective of the kitchen, even from the get-go,” Sero mentions, looking smug. “Would you have really let Denki try cooking again?”
Katsuki’s nose curls in disgust. “Absolutely fucking not, he’s already tried,” he says, rolling his eyes, “this piece of shit over here likes to make it seem like I never feed him. I’ll bite his hands off before he even gets close to my kitchen at this point.”
“It’s neglect, Kacchan!” Denki groans out, “you barely give me crumbs.”
Or, a 5+1 where Katsuki and Denki dance around their developing relationship. Eventually, they get there.

Denki is three (or maybe four?) mugs of eggnog in when his phone vibrates with an incoming call. The contact name Kacchan 😍 pops up on his screen and he fully screams as he answers.
“Oi, Sparky, you trying to make me deaf?” comes Katsuki’s gruff voice .
“Kacchan!” Denki says with a big smile, slightly quieter. “I miss you!”
He really does. Denki is hosting their friend group’s annual Christmas party at their apartment, but Katsuki is out of town visiting family. And Denki had been really hoping that this year he would finally muster the courage to wander under the mistletoe as an excuse to kiss his roommate and longtime crush.
“Tch. Yeah, yeah,” he says, which is Katsuki-speak for Miss you too.

"More like I should have never gotten in your stupid car in Kansas!" Kaminari all but shouts in that same loud way that he seems to do everything. It grinds against the last bit of Katsuki's patience.
"Well," he says flatly, turning back and thrusting the now-fixed shotgun into Kami's hands, "you fuckin' did. And now I spend every day hopin' and prayin' that whatever braincells you've got left in that vacancy you call a skull will spark to life."
