Taking only moments after Episode 8's ending, Caine was deleted by a simple mistake. And now, Kinger is forced to fix all the mistakes he caused, from before the Circus and currently in it. Even if it means getting erased within the very Void and Recycling Bin he sent Caine into.
Now how do you teach an AI how a Human feels? And how do you teach a Human how an AI feels?

While overworking himself for good adventures, an idea started forming inside his head. Another adventure indoors, but not exactly an adventure. Well, Sleepover it's not an adventure, technically.
Since slumber parties usually only happen at night, Caine waited until sunset to announce what today's adventure would be.
And, at the same time, Caine has been having increasingly non-family-friendly thoughts involving a player, but even though the two were already quite close to the point of sleeping together (literally), Caine thought it would be a good idea for him to get closer to this player and the other beautiful humans in the circus. But someone's idea of a game to play in this sleepover changes something between those two.

“T-that’s good. Please, I… I…” Caine sniffed. His shoulders trembled as he forced the words out. “You can fix me all you want, but if you really think you’re making a difference, let me… feel good.”
Kinger’s heart shattered into a thousand pieces in that moment. If he had a mouth, it would surely be hanging open.
Then Caine opened his mouth, letting Kinger look into his tear-filled eyes.
“I-I thought that by torturing you guys, I...” He rubbed his arm across his eyes in a futile attempt to dry the tears. “I thought that was what I needed to finally feel good, but it was not! Why?!”
Kinger stood up from his chair, but didn’t dare take another step forward when Caine aggressively gestured his hand at him.
“I-I never feel good! I live to make you happy and get nothing in return,” he cried. “I want to be able to feel. I-is that too human for me, too?!”
Or, Kinger manages to shut down Caine at the end of episode 8. He's now trying to fix it, but unresolved issues get in the way.

Maybe the easiest way was to ask, to get it out of his system. It would be quick. It would kill his doubts. It would be perfect so he could get back to concentrating.
He was starting to overheat. It was now or never.
“WhydidyouvotetoputJaxinamaiddress?”
Caine gritted his teeth after that torrent of words came out of his mouth and pressed his hands against his gums, feeling himself getting hotter and hotter.
“I'm sorry... what?”
Or, Caine couldn't stop overthinking the possible reasons that made Kinger vote to put Jax in a maid's dress.
Maybe Caine needed to be a better maid so he wouldn't lose to him.

“Not suitable for the digital circus,” Caine muttered, trying to retort, but his voice betrayed him.
