Like, actually. He very nearly loses balance for no reason at all and tumbles to the sidewalk next to his car. He’s been playing Aziraphale’s voice in his head for weeks, he’s been trying very hard to drown out the sound of it, in fact, and now suddenly, abruptly—
“What are you doing here,” is all he can think to say. He whirls around, and there he is. On Crowley’s right, standing there like he’d never left. Where he belongs, Crowley’s mind helpfully supplies. He wishes he could punch himself in the brain, knock the thoughts right on out of there.

Summary
After Bucky was released from the hospital, it only took him a couple of weeks to give up on himself. Difficult to believe in any kind of future when the simple act of staying alive was almost too big an effort.
Out the frosted window, across the street, there was a tiny homeless guy burrowing under an awning.

man i wanna go through and annotated every bit of this
it's written so so well, the blocks of text as bucky panics - the reader losing themself in the rush as bucky does, to how real everything is - genuinely reflecting everything from the sex to how fucking hard it is to get up some days and just how that feels, if only in a more beautiful and coherent and eloquent waya lovely beautiful touching story
and for my future self, the one where bucky is having a hell of a time and he physically saves steve but steve saves him too, and their little relevations are so simple yet so true, resonating enough to make you cry

As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
(It's probably a bad idea, but he really can't help himself.)
