Summary
A week has passed since the angels were forced to retreat and the Extermination was cancelled; the Hazbin Hotel has been rebuilt, peace reigns again, and although the demons still seem reluctant to embark on the path of redemption Charlie is optimistic about the future. Just like every relationship Light had fabricated, L was simply a cog in the grand scheme of Light’s web of lies. What none of them predicted, though, was how often Misa and L would find each other in one another’s corner. How much they had in common. How often they would talk. How much more interest they had in each other than anything else. If there was something to gain from Misa’s relationship with Light it would be the complex thing that was her friendship with L. Whatever they could call it.
