Yuuri blinks at that. For a split second he wonders if an angrier asshole version of himself from an alternate universe, someone who spelled their name wrong and snubbed his nose at basic rules of grammar, had somehow found a way to pester him while he tried to prevent, by studying, at least one aspect of his life from crumbling into utter ruin. Then the split second passes and Yuuri reins in the insanity long enough to venture a rational approach.

Three seconds later his phone rings.

Two weeks after his failure at Sochi, Yuuri receives a text from a mysterious number asking why the fuck he’s ignoring Viktor. So begins Yuri Plisetsky’s all out campaign to get Yuuri to finally text Viktor and end the torment of watching Viktor pine, and so begins Yuuri's descent into a wonderland of texting his idol, meeting his #1 fan(s), and slowly rebuilding his life with a little help from his friends.

Summary
They Shook Hands tells the overplot of the Harry Potter series using the Slytherin characters. I couldn’t find the sort of story I wanted to read. I still haven’t found anything that comes close. Canon events still happen, just not in the same manner. I do not introduce wildly out of place elements to the plot. I don’t suddenly send the plot spiralling off into strange new directions. There will be no new systems of magic, mages, elementals, Lordships, harems, or Tolkien elves. I have tried to write a realistic, canonesque story. My characters are not Junior Death Eaters. Every canon incident of their bad behaviour is present here. They are bullies. They are mean. But they’re not evil.
The functional POD is that the Malfoys have a child before Draco, and their development is slightly different. By the time Draco meets Harry, he's realised the value of friendship and is more open of a person. The POD for Harry is when he meets Draco in Madam Malkin's. In TSH, unlike canon, he introduces himself to Draco. They shake hands and decide to be friends. The story is distinct from other Harry-in-Slytherin fics because it doesn't turn on Harry being sorted to Slytherin but rather on Harry becoming friends with Draco.- Words:

Summary
For all those hard fronts Yuri throws in people’s faces, he’s apparently pretty damn transparent about his (kinda annoying) crush on Yuuri Katsuki, because Chris and Phichit see straight through him. And then - as some crappy peace offering he most certainly didn’t ask for or want - they tell him about their own past (REALLY annoying) crushes on Katsuki.

Summary
After the Cup of China, Yuuri waited for an awkward discussion of the kiss on the ice. He waited that night, in their shared hotel room; waited over breakfast the next morning, when Victor had sat on the same side of the booth and stolen bites from Yuuri’s plate; he waited on the flight home, when he woke to the scent of Victor’s sweet shampoo from where he’d nestled against him in the air. He waited, but they never spoke of it. Instead, Victor comes back to Japan ready to immerse himself in the language, and Yuuri comes back wondering what exactly had happened.
OR:
Victor is learning Japanese for all the wrong and right reasons.

It's one of the worse evenings. He feels the routine itching under his skin, restless and howling and his left foot throbs, but he counts the points for the thousandth time and wants to scream, because it's just not good enough. This is a direct sequel to my fic "The Longest Hours." You can jump in here if you want, but if you do, you need to know:
1). In the first fic, both Viktor and Yuuri were suicidal post-Sochi GPF and met each other on the hotel roof, where they talked each other out of jumping
2). Yuuri was supposed to be on a medication that got left behind in Detroit and was experiencing withdrawal symptoms, which contributed to his suicidal state.
3). Viktor is very in the closet because Russian homophobia is a real and dangerous thing in this AU.
4). Viktor's tragic backstory is a thing. TL;DR: his mother tried to kill him and then killed herself when he was 12, and he was disowned by his father at 19 for getting involved with another man.
5). Those two things combined let Vitya to his suicidal state.
6). They fall in love quickly, even if they don't call it that for a long time.I'd be happiest if you gave the first part a glance before this, though. I worked really hard on it!

Summary
The kissing thing is still new enough to drive all thought of packing, and training, out of Viktor’s head for a few minutes, though. They really haven’t had nearly enough time: a few days snatched between the Cup of China and the Rostelcom, a few weeks between that and the Final. Not enough compared to a winter of missing Yuri and wanting, and a summer of having him in arm’s reach and still wanting more.
The thing is, Viktor knows it’s not enough time for Yuri, not enough time in other ways: not enough time to have built confidence in himself. Not enough time to really trust Viktor. Not enough time, perhaps, to have figured out what he wants at all.
