Summary
Soma, Douma's twin sister, is almost exactly identical to him. They have the same rainbow irises, the same oak-white hair, the same smile. The only difference between them is gender, and Soma's ability to feel compared to Douma's lack thereof.

I never make my bookmarks public unless they're a joke to cover all the privately bookmarked smut I typically read. This was just too nice to keep all to myself.Sure, there's a sex "scene" or whatever, but that's not the point. The two of them are stuck in their assigned roles and they won't ever get out of them, but they love each other anyway. That's the beauty of it. They can't really be together–or maybe, they can, past the time the fic ends–and that makes it hurt all the more.
But beyond the hurt that I feel seeing them age, they grow. Even when they're apart from each other, they grow in their roles and become stronger people. Gahh, I need to shut up.
Too beautiful. Too bittersweet.
