Summary
As he walked, he mulled over his next move. He didn’t know exactly what it was about the camera that had called to him, but it had—and now it was his. He was already plotting how he would work it into his next project. Whatever this camera was, it would play a part in something even bigger.
The rest of the walk felt like a blur. His mind raced ahead, thoughts swirling with possibilities, all centered around the new, shiny object that had somehow inserted itself into his plans. And then, of course, there was his beloved co-worker.
The poor guy was probably holed up in his room, buried beneath a mountain of paperwork, or tinkering away with whatever complex nonsense he was always involved in. Subspace could already picture the look on his face when he saw the camera. He’d probably roll his eyes, scowl, or worse—give Subspace that “I’m not impressed” look.

Subspace finds a camera, buys it for more than it was originally sold for, something about it makes him intrigued. Coming back to his co-worker, Medkit. They fight over such stupid camera, that apparently doesn't work, according to the engineer. They fuck, blah blah blah.
