Summary
Chad's gone longer than he usually does between family visits, deciding to rectify this by going over to his family's home for his birthday weekend. They've also been begging him to let them meet his "new" boyfriend ever since Chad told them they started dating a few months ago, prompting Chad to invite Robert along.
While it was amazing to see everyone again, Chad can't help but feel anxious at the thought of Robert either not enjoying himself or not liking his family. Thankfully, they've both had plenty of time to learn how to read each other and how to cheer each other up when their minds are getting too loud, even though the car ride home may not be the best time to do so.
