Summary
This is not the first time he has come to Sarada's room. For almost all his life he has known Sarada, he has often spent time in this place. Several times he even stayed night here. Not when they were little, but ever since they were genin even now, at certain times of the night when he needed someone to hear his laments, when he needed someone to lean on, he would come here.
He would knocked on Sarada's balcony glass, then after the girl let him in, he would tell a lot of things and Sarada would listen silently. And after that, someday if Sarada was being kind, she would let Boruto fall asleep on her shoulder. And stay like that until morning.

!Events of story take place after Boruto chapter 66!
Boruto had died at the hands of Kawaki.
However, because of Momoshiki’s will, he survived.
Since then, Boruto decided for the sake of his friends, his family, and the village, to remain dead in everyone’s minds and leave Konoha for a period of time to keep the village safe.
But when Sarada is sent on a mission to find a Leaf operative and finds Boruto instead, he finds he might just have a good enough reason to come home.

She has been preparing herself for this responsibility for her whole life and she won't give it up for anything, even if that means having to swallow her pain and hide her tears.
Boruto has always wanted to find his own way, different than that of his father, but the loss of a brother and his spiraling self doubt as the protector of his home, his family and his friends has left him unsure of himself and the path that he is on and he finds himself unable to move on from past pain.
Through it all, they've been there for each other, but something has changed.

Boruto’s patience was already on the verge of breaking into all out panic. He pressed the heel of his palm against his brow, rubbing as he sighed. He glanced at Kawaki's clone lounging on his dad’s couch.
“Look, I’m not trying to be a pain, but I also can’t help you if you don’t let me in on what’s going on. I know you well enough by now that I don’t think you’d try to leave the village again for no good reason,” Boruto said. Or, at least, Boruto was pretty sure Kawaki didn’t still feel like he had no place within Konoha.

This is my attempt at telling Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke, and the rest of the crew’s crumbling story from recent manga chapters up through to the time skip and beyond. If you need something similar to satisfy your cravings while waiting for manga releases, this is the fic for you.

Summary
Sarada returns home after her first mission as ANBU captain, which went terribly wrong. Even though, she is back and not in danger any more, she suffers from PTSD and nightmares because she is feeling responsible for the incidents and her team mates. No matter how hard she tries to hide her current state, one will always see right through her – Boruto. He is the one who can give her comfort and solace.
Of course, Boruto notices that Sarada isn’t the same anymore since she is back. So, he tries his best to be there for her and help her getting through the trauma.
