Summary
This was a novelty taught to all those in the royal bloodline - someone will always want you dead. Inevitably, it seemed all members of royalty had to undergo an assassination attempt. History had a way of rhyming, and the conclusion was always the same, just written in a different dye of ink.

Summary
It was a constant dance of banter that bordered on flirtation. Hawks was a natural at it, it had been ingrained into him from as far back as he can recall. The commission knew what to grind into him and how to play it to his advantage. It was a sport to him, and he regularly engaged with it with fans, other heroes, and even on previous missions. Hawks played to win, and he always scored.
Should he be engaging Dabi with those tactics? The obvious answer was no, but that line had been blurred for months.
or....
Hawks gets a bit drunk shortly after the League of Villains joins the Meta Liberation Army. There's a party to celebrate and Hawks knows he shouldn't seek Dabi out, but he cannot help himself.

Summary
What were they?
The thoughts crossed her mind, over and over again until she felt her claws digging into her skull, the sickening stench of iron drifting into the chilled air - the campfire died down a long time ago. Blood trailed down her sunkissed skin, claws eager as ever to split open her head as she had done to many in the past.
She knew she was a cold-hearted monster, not presently, but that being was just dormant. Shockingly, Lord Enver Gortash knew her, past her, announcing to everyone she was his favorite assassin. The way his gaze had drifted over her figure in familiarity, his eyes held so much emotion yet his tongue did not falter once, spilling out a sacred pact between them. It was so very him, and how she knew his mannerisms were foreign to her bloodied mind.
He knew something and she craved any knowledge about her past, a bad temptation.
Slipping out of camp, she was determined to find out - even if it meant waltzing into enemy hands.
